Guitar & Bass Instruction
At Thornleigh Guitar Academy, I hold the belief that music is a universal language, welcoming individuals of all ages and skill levels. My specialized guitar and bass lessons are crafted to help students achieve their musical goals. Utilizing various techniques such as scales, chords, strumming, and fingerpicking, I provide guidance to nurture students' musical capabilities. Furthermore, I offer training in reading music and grasping music theory to deepen students' understanding and enjoyment of music. Additionally, by incorporating Guitar Pro, students gain access to a diverse song library, enhancing their learning journey.
Terms & Conditions
1. Payment:
a. Payment for guitar and bass lessons is required in advance either through invoicing or in-person during your lesson session.
b. We accept payment via credit card, debit card, PayPal, or cash.
c. Lessons can be bought in packs of either 5 or 10 sessions.
d. All payments made are non-refundable.
2. Scheduling:
a. Lessons must be scheduled in advance.
b. Students must give at least a 24-hour notice if they need to reschedule or cancel a lesson.
c. Failing to provide proper notice may lead to the forfeiture of the lesson.
d. Catch-up lessons are an option for missed sessions if the notice is provided within 24 hours of the missed lesson.
3. Lesson Duration:
a. Each lesson is set for a duration of 30 minutes (unless any other arrangements have been made).
b. Lessons will start and end on time, despite the student’s arrival time.
c. If a student arrives late, the lesson will conclude on time.
5. Cancellation:
a. Thornleigh Guitar Academy reserves the right to cancel lessons for any reason.
b. In case of a cancellation, the session will be rescheduled at a time mutually convenient.
6. Liability:
a. Thornleigh Guitar Academy will not be held responsible for any damage to personal property.
b. Students are accountable for any damage caused to studio equipment or property by them.
c. Thornleigh Guitar Academy holds no liability for any injuries sustained during lessons.
By enrolling in our guitar and bass lessons, you are acknowledging and agreeing to these terms and conditions. Thornleigh Guitar Academy retains the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time, with or without prior notification.

Guitar & Bass Service
For guitar and bass players, it is vital to maintain your instrument for peak performance. Regular servicing and restringing are essential to ensure that your guitar or bass maintains its optimal sound and playability. By relying on a skilled professional for these services, you can proactively address potential issues and extend the longevity of your instrument. Whether it involves restringing, assessing wear and tear, or conducting necessary repairs, routine servicing is critical for upholding your instrument's quality. If you wish to preserve the top condition of your guitar or bass, it is highly recommended to schedule regular servicing, with restringing recommended every three to six months. Guitar service, including strings, is priced at $65.00, or $45.00 if you provide the strings. Bass service, including strings, is priced at $75.00, or $55.00 if you provide the strings. Additionally, I offer installation services for pickups, input jacks, machine heads, and pickup switches—feel free to inquire about pricing for these services.
